Elizabeth Flora, Management Services Officer, Center for Health Research

Elizabeth Flora became the Center's Administrative Coordinator in 2001 during its first year. Elizabeth finds much to keep her engaged and intrigued as she manages the grants and operating expenses of this spirited and multi-disciplinary Center. Now, at age five, the Center's wide-ranging research portfolio continues to burgeon, and its projects are often international in scope. Combined with her previous professional experience at the University of Colorado, Elizabeth has over twelve years of higher education job acumen from which to draw for this ever-changing and growing environment.

Elizabeth earned her BA in English Literature. The honors thesis she wrote on the social construction of the disabled body garnered her a summa cum laude designation. These days, her free time is spent auditing one of Berkeley's many cutting-edge Disability Studies courses.
